For end-of-life home visits or consultations, my regular hours are Monday through Friday. Evening and Saturday appointments are available. Same-day appointments for urgent visits may be available.

My specially trained compassionate support team is available at 802-323-5200 from 7am-8pm on weekdays and 7am-6pm on weekends, every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas. They can talk through your concerns with you, answer your questions, and schedule your appointment—or just provide a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on, if that’s what you need.

The fee for home euthanasia in Zone 1 of my service area is $385 for any size pet. This can include a physical exam and/or consultation if you wish (not required), and the euthanasia itself. Most euthanasia appointments are about 45 minutes to an hour or so, but the fee doesn’t change based on time, so you can take as much time as you wish.

Cremation is available; fees are based on size and range from $250-400 if you would like your pet’s ashes returned to you, or $150-250 if you do not want the ashes returned. Cremation fees include all arrangements and transportation by me, immediately following your appointment. If you have chosen to have your pet’s ashes returned, I’ll have them for you typically in 2-3 weeks.

There is an added fee of $175 for Saturday appointments or appointments starting at 4:30pm or later on weekdays.

Home visits for exams, consultations and acupuncture are $285 for an appointment within Zone 1. A phone consult is $255. The initial at-home consultation and exam for one pet will take about an hour, depending on the situation; phone consults may be a little shorter. Followup appointments, if needed, typically take 45 minutes to an hour and are also $285/hour at home, or $255/hour for telemedecine. Any medications will be charged separately.

For emergency care, please call a local clinic such as Onion River Animal Hospital at 802-223-7765 or Montpelier Veterinary Hospital at 802-223-3220. After hours, please contact Burlington Emergency and Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) in Williston at 802-863-2387, or SAVES in Lebanon, NH at 603-306-0007. BEVS and SAVES offer emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Peak Veterinary Referral Center in Williston also offers urgent care services 7 days a week, 10am-8pm; you can call them at 802-878-2022.

The acupuncture side of my practice is currently full and the waiting list is closed. If I’m able to see new patients again, I’ll update this site right away, so please check back in regularly! Existing acupuncture clients can schedule an appointment here.

The first in-office acupuncture appointment takes 45-60 minutes and costs $115. Follow-up appointments in the office are about 45 minutes and cost $95.

For an acupuncture appointment in my office, please arrive at the time you are scheduled for. (There’s no need to come early, except to the first appointment.) When you make your first appointment, you’ll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to find my office.

If you need to cancel or change your acupuncture appointment, please give 24 hours advance notice. If you are not in the office at the appointed time (or for home visits, if you are not home when I arrive for your appointment) I will wait as long as I can for you (typically 15 minutes or so). Missed appointments like this or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the full fee rate unless there has been a genuine emergency (medical, weather, or other) or a COVID-related reason.

Payment with check, cash, or Venmo is preferred and is expected at the time of your appointment unless we’ve made other arrangements. I also take MasterCard, Visa, or Discover (including debit cards).
